In Memory...

Life is short folks. Hug your loved ones. Hold them close. Don't miss any opportunity to tell a friend how much they mean to you.

The T-town cycling community took a hit here today.

Tonight I ride in memory of my friend.

Unbelievable. Remeber when you could still read G0 Dave painted on the trees at Tom Brown? Or Dave and Ace's tour on the NORBA circuit? Yes, a legend is gone, Chris, please pass on my condolences, life is short. For all those who were'nt around during the formative years of mountain biking, you missed seeing a gifted rider on the trails.

Brutal news. Just awful.

Absolutely, 007! I have so many Dave B stories in my head. He talked me into my first mountain bike race, dragged me around more times than I can remember, and made me laugh with that lazy eyed grin of his. I got to hang with he and his son for about an hour last night. It was good to see him, and ride together again. I just didn't realize it was going to be the last time. I'm thankful for that last chance to see him.

Yeah it is, Juancho. I've since learned that his son is okay, at least physically. I'm thankful for that, too.

Hey Chris, I came across your blog in light of this tragic news. My thoughts are with the Tally crew. Be well.
